In an industry that faces a very intense labor shortage, where millions are stuck doing repetitive work, Hoshii’s AWP offers an AI teammate that handles tedious chores like processing unstructured data, responding to customer inquiries, and entering data into ERP systems. Adam, our AI teammate, works to process orders and supplier notes, freeing up teams for more valuable work.

Our Blind Spot

We are currently growing faster than our infrastructure can follow, running around with duct tape to make our systems reliable while relentlessly shipping new features as well. We are looking for a ML Software Engineer who will be building and shipping new AI features blazing fast together with our ML engineers, while another part of the team focuses on scalability and reliability. You will join a founding team of young, talented engineers, get the opportunity to make an impact which, if remarkable, will score you a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain effective, reliable and efficient AI RAG systems.
• Integrate and maintain various AI systems into our platform to automate manual human workflows and generate data insights.
• Implement tests for our AI systems using LLM-as-a-Judge to ensure reproducibility
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues concerning our AI workloads, and promptly assist the team with providing data and indications to expedite resolution.
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code and documentation.

Your Profile

We are looking for team players with a growth mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit:

• Strong coding and debugging skills.
• Proven experience building and maintaining applications using Python, Javascript or similar.
• Proven experience building LLM-based systems and RAG applications.
• Proficiency with RESTful API design and familiarity with the microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with relational databases (Postgres) and No-SQL (MongoDB).
