At Hoshii, we are building the AI workspace platform (AWP) for wholesalers. We do so by fully automating data entry from email, SMS and phone calls into ERP systems. In an industry that faces a very intense labor shortage, where millions are stuck doing repetitive work, Hoshii’s AWP offers an AI teammate that handles tedious chores like processing unstructured data, responding to customer inquiries, and entering data into ERP systems. Adam, our AI teammate, works to process orders and supplier notes, freeing up teams for more valuable work.

Our Blind Spot

We are currently growing faster than our infrastructure can follow, running around with duct tape to timely fix bugs while relentlessly building new features. This makes it harder for our small team to constantly juggle between keeping the lights on and extending both back- and frontend. Because of this, we need a full-stack engineer who can increase our backend and frontend development firepower. You will be in charge of building a more cohesive, high-performing product that delights users at every touchpoint—even as we continue shipping innovative features at breakneck speed.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Development: Design and implement features across the full technology stack—from sleek, responsive UIs using ReactJS, Tailwind CSS, and Zustand to robust, scalable back-end APIs.
• Design & UX Collaboration: Work closely with our designer to ensure every feature is both visually stunning and highly functional.
• Feature Ownership: Take charge of building new functionalities and refining existing ones, with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Troubleshooting: Identify, debug, and resolve issues spanning the entire stack to ensure a smooth user experience.
• Agile Mindset: Participate actively in sprint planning, code reviews, and team discussions, ensuring our fast-paced development remains organized and efficient.

Your Profile

We’re looking for a team player with a growth mindset and a passion for building beautiful, functional software:

• Full Stack Proficiency: 3+ years of experience in full stack development.
• Front-End Expertise: Deep knowledge of React JS, and state management with Zustand, Redux, Mobx, or similar libraries. An eye for design and user experience is a must.
• Back-End Know-How: Experience building APIs and services using Node.js, Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Problem-Solving: Strong debugging skills and a knack for finding creative solutions.
• Agile & Collaborative: Familiarity with agile methodologies and excellent communication skills.
